Michal Martyniuk has been an active and highly acclaimed musician throughout his career. He came in second place at the prestigious Made In New York jazz competition in 2018, leading him to be nominated for the Fryderyk 2019 - Jazz Discovery Of The Year award in 2019, and be named a finalist for Jazz Artist of the Year at the Aotearoa Music Awards for his album Resonate in 2020.
